United tracks Everton star

According to reports from the Daily Mirror , Manchester United is believed to be tracking Everton star midfielder, Marouane Fallaini in hopes of making a potential bid for the player in the January transfer window. Fellaini has been the topic of much discussion in the past several weeks since the close of the summer transfer window at the beginning of September and he is thought to be a potential massive signing for one of several clubscome January. Manchester United could use the player as the long term effectiveness of Michael Carrick is becoming more and more suspect. Additionally the health of Darren Fletcher in the long run of things is also under a microscope because he is yet to truly return to full health and is a major worry for the club. If Fellaini moves to Old Traffordit would be a true steal for the Red Devils as he is a type of midfield weapon they are lacking as he is a true box to box midfielder that can play as effectively deep in a holding position just as in a high attacking position. His height and aerial ability is also a major boost for his potential value to another club aside from Everton.

Shinji Kagawa scored his first goal for Manchester United as his strike secured a 1- nil victory over Shangai Shenhua. The former Dotmund midfielder volleyed home in the 68th minute making no mistake from the six yard box after great work from Bebe down the left.Shanghai rarely threatened the United goal but their best chance fell to Joel Griffiths but he was denied by a great save from Anders Lindegaard as the Red Devils ran out comfortable victors as the score-line didn’t do their dominance of the game justice.
