Enyimba suspends Eguavoen

Enyimba of Aba have announced asuspension of the club’s technical adviser, Augustine Eguavoen, indefinitely for poor performance and anti-club activities. Club chairman Felix Anyansi-Agwu, in a statement, said the former Super Eagles coach has displayed unprofessional attitude since the team was eliminated from the Federation Cup in Ibadanby lowly Prime of Osogbo. According to Anyansi-Agwu, sincethe team returned to Aba after theFederation Cup elimination, Eguavoen has refused to return towork and his action negates the contract agreement he signed with the club. Only three days ago, Eguavoen, hisassisatants and the players were placed on half salary by the management for poor performance and dwindling productivity with a warning to either improve or face further sanctions.
